LLCNika-Telecom delivers the work in the shortest time possible, designing and constructing the infrastructure of the user . In the operating phase LLC Nika-Telecom provides around the clock monitoring and technical support of the equipment.

Synergy of the experience, direct contacts with equipment manufacturers, software manufacturers as well as partnership with most operators allow LLCNika-Telecomto implement the maximum service range in telecommunications. The spectre goes from pre-project consulting, to providing a wide range of services and technical support of the existing equipment.

We have created and developed our network using professional equipment of the world leaders in telecommunications, such as: Cisco, Qtech, HP, Infinet etc.

The primary network of our company is based on Fiber Optics. Peripheral portions of the network use their own links that are RRL based and also our partners’ communications channels. Primary network often uses the wave division multiplexing (CWDM, DWDM), that allows to achieve the desired capacity of the main sections. The capacity of the primary channels of the network is between 100 MB/ per second and 5 GB/per second. The connection to the subscriber i.e. “the last mile” is constructed by means of broadband wireless access (BWA).

In 2007 LLCNika-Telecom, trade mark AlBeoN, started connecting its' subscribers to the net of IEEE 802.11g Infinet standard, a so called WiMaxpre net.

What is WiMaxpre? What is the difference between WiMaxpre and WiMax?

WiMax is a Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access and it is based on a IEEE 802.16.2004 standard, designed by WiMax Forum.

WiMax technology provides broadband access in case when terrestrial links fail due to technical or economic reasons. This technology can be used by broadband operators and voice communications operators to solve “the last mile” (the last dime)problems, and it can also be used for mobile phone access that contributes to GSM/Edge technology, Wi-Fi and 3G. In Russia there is currently no single established WiMax standard.

WiMaxpre is used when it is impossible to pass the cable and one needs to connect a remote building to the internet. By using WiMaxpre you could connect two separate remote points or create a network point –to-multipoint while using a wireless technology.

There is no real difference between WiMax and WiMaxpre for the end user. Their main difference is in the frequencies used and the range of the base station.

In order to connect to a wireless broadband internet, the user must acquire a subscriber device,that receives and transmits traffic in the relevant range. This type of communication is critical for the sight line of the base station. It is enough to secure the equipment on the roof top to get a full communication service.
